Jigging rod preference

I am new to the jigging scene & would like to set myself up with a few outfits. I would like to be able to jig tuna with them as well as do some deep water bottom fishing ( I trip to Alaska every July). Not in love with the noodle action of the Trevala's, I am looking for something with a little more power without sacrificing too muck weight. Reel will be a TRQ300.

I was cruising around the site reading... I really like the look of the Tuna Max F-400XH any thoughts? Are there other blanks with similar characteristics?

you can't go wrong with the Tuna Max. Isn't the TRQ300 high speed ratio? If it is why you want the high gear?
