I have two of the bearfoot jigging rods. I fish them with 30lbs drag. Have caught YF, sharks with them. Great for big fish. I prefer these to other jigging rods I have. 4 ft 10 in. 12 oz.

I like the 25-325g rod, it's a beast, but am going to get the next one down for lighter duty stripers and blues.

Ordered a 325 gram rod to try. It came in today. Very nicely built rod. It's a pretty stiff stick. Much stiffer than I expected.

I may try one of the 4'10" 400 grams too.

I have deadlifted 10+lbs with the rod, ran out of stuff to lift at that point, I can do some lifts tonight with it to show the bend if you like. They might be static tests with the line tied to something if i run out of weight. It barely bends with a 300g jig on the end

The 400 gram you are talking about?

no, the 6' 250-325g

I did a deadlift tonight with 12lbs or so, that's about the max weight I'd put on it in a deadlift, these rods are very fast action so they will not bend very far down the blank
