They state that up to 3 people can fish the day for $75 total, then if you sign a lease, they'll apply that to the cost.

They show boats docked on the ponds, but I'll send them an email today.

I thought you might be interested!

What kind of gear do I need?
I have 2 small spinning reel and matching rods, I think is rated for 8# will it work?

I'll hook you up with some lures and stuff, I've got more than I could use in a lifetime. When are you going?

If they will let you use live bait nothing beats a Waterdog for catching bass.

Thanks bighead, that's great!

TJ- I will be bringing 6-7 rigs (3 new ones that I want to try out) and you and Rue are welcome to use them (2 baitcasters and 4 spinners).

Good suggestion WilliamH, but these ponds have been managed for the past 6 years and have only been fished for about 30 minutes, by one guy, one time!

We have 2 days on the property (spending the night in the renovated lodge on the property) and we'll definitely not have to use live bait.

The guy wants us to 'help'LOL move some of his bigger fish from the brood pond (with the help of aerated tanks and ranch hands) to the other ponds.

It should be a lot of fun and I plan on lots of experimenting!

We'll post report and pics!

Hey Willie!

We're going to Allen's place! Thank you very much for the lead!

We'll post a detailed report! He's got a potentially excellent place that will enable families to intro their kids to bass, crappie and catfish fishing AND catching!
