Is it worth it? Twinspin 20 or 30?

Submited By TheSwab TheSwab is offline
Will a 20 or 30 twinspin hold up to 20-25 lbs of drag? I am considering buying one for jigging 150-200# bluefin, But I dont wanna buy a reel thats gonna turn to dust after the first or second run...

Should I go stella (Im not a shimano fan at all) or twinspin?

Where in this whole thread does it say anything about Accurates being made in China? Not sure how you ever got that idea. If you followed the whole thread, it says they are made in California.

D-A IM SORRY THAT YOU HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH ACCURATE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT ISSUES YOU HAVE SEEN, ACCURATE IS A SMALLER COMPANY THAN SHIMANO AND LISTEN AND ALWASY TRY TO IMPROVE THERE TACKLE, I SPEAK WITH BEN WEAKLY AND AM ALWASY GIVING HIM INPUT FROM US FISHERMAN. I TODAY SPOKE TO HIM AND SAID I THINK THE HANDLES ARE TO LONG AND NOT AT THE RIGHT ANGLE SO WE ARE WORKING ON MAKING THE REEL THE BEST IT CAN BE. I HAVE SEEN A 30 GEARS BLOW ON THE TEXAS TRIP MY BUDDY WAS ON THE BOAT. SO ANY INPUT WILL ALWAYS HELP.

Its hard for me to spend the kind of money on a TS 30 when 2/3rds of the ones i have seen have broke and then to hear the storys about the service after they break. I know that if you push reels to there limits that there going to break eventually, but its the way the company takes care of you after the sell that counts the most IMO .

Thats why I use stella's

I havent had any issues with my accurates. I just dont have any accurate spinning reels. Like I said I have seen 2/3rds of the accurate spinners Ive seen in use have broke. I liked the looks of them, and had thoughts about getting one.

Thats good that you talk to Accurate weekly, Maybe you should remind them that there customer service after the sale is what gets them repeat customers and its lacking a little.
