tyrnos12 2speed

Submited By Josh Josh is offline

Brand: Shimano   Model: tyrnos12 2speed   Types: Conventional
Wandering what the drag is like and if it realy is capable of 33# like shimano says. Will it hold up on long runs of 50-100lb yft's. Thinking about spooling with 65 or 80# braid for jigging or livebaiting. Any recomendations?
Thanks

I was thinking about either the 12 or the 16 but felt they were too heavy for jigging.

have the 12 - 2 speed jet up for jigging school bluefin tuna - put 65lb braid on it - have caught a bunch of cod & haddock, but no tuna - that could change this weekend as they have moved into our area - i'll let you know how I make out
