omg i saw this reel in action and i am glad yall talked me outta buyin it, drag was set fairly tight and it damn near got spooled by a 50 lb wahoo i thought the reel was going to melt any 1 else seen or used one of these?

I'm on the allcoast board. The Okuma Titus is awful!!!There's a reason why Meltontackle.com has been trying to dump it's entire inventory for more than a year now (click on "web clearance items"). The Catalina (graphite reel) sucks too. I went on a 5-day trip with Big Game 90 last year and Okuma was lending out free gear. They couldn't pay me to use that stuff.
On the other hand, their saltwater spinning reels seem to have a good reputation. They should focus on that. |
