Mr. Bill,
I was wrong, Roy's is stocking some of the smaller Accurates! Went by today to pick up my Hoo-X, and they had a really good selection of the single speed BOSS reels, plus both the 30 and 12 spinners. Both spinners still feel too heavy to me! Hoo-X is nice!! Tom - DBG |

[quote=gimmedeal]Here's the current Kaikon. It upgraded from 10 to 13kg drag and now has a lower profile line counter. There's an upgrade on one of the main bearings also. Price went up a little but these are some great reels.

Rick, I've used the older ones as jigging reels and they've been great but the changes are all pluses as far as I can tell. 28 lbs of drag, a little more powerful gear ratio, and a line counter that doesn't stick out quite so far. The only thing is, the price puts it up there with the one speed 665.
That said, you can always make room for one more I guess. Got 3 of the OTI rods to check out and they look great. Am spooling up a Kaikon for the 300 gram rod and an Accurate 665 for the 600 gram. Think a TwinPower 8000 on the spinner. Now. I NEED TO GO FISHING. Fred |
