Need help with Drag washer retainer

Submited By mad marlin mad marlin is offline

Brand: Shimano   Model: Stella 16000 FA   Types: Spinning
I recently bought a used Shimano Stella 16000 FA , while review it I notice that the drag washer retainer is missing.
The clicker will sound if the spool is turned counterclock wise , is it becouse of the missing retainer that it wont sound colckwise ? any tip where can I purchase the retainer.
Thank you

i'd give shimano a call

here's the schematic, find the part, and when you call them give them the number and they can order the part for the you. They will be a lot cheaper than other places as well. I ordered parts for a Calcutta TE, and the total was half of what another place was charging.

Just a suggestion:

If you bought that reel and it's previously owned, you should send it to Shimano Service with a note that states the part is missing.

While they will replace that retaining clip, they'll also do a full service to it.

In my experience, Shimano's service is excellent.

Make sure to include all of your contact information, including a return address.
