Accurate reels good for chunking?

Submited By YMMV YMMV is offline

Brand: Accurate Fishing   Model: 270/870/665   Types: Conventional
I have noticed most accurate owners use them for jigging. How are they are far as chunking? Everyone seems to use larger reels for chunking vs jigging. I know you would want a lighter reel for jigging. I am mainly talking about the 270, 870, and 665.

I would like to have a 665W 2spd with a get strapped bracket for chunking.. One guy i know chunks with a 870 2spd, he likes to go to the lightest for anything...

thats pretty close
i dont know why but i am not a big fan of Avet..yet.
i would go with the penn
OR
whichever is lighter in weight

i use the Tiburon SST30 chunking..about 33oz

given the accurate choices,,the 665 would be my pick

Yes I got Torque's, Avets, Penn 30's and 20's( upgraded) for chunking (about 15 combined)
I also got 8 red and black penn 6\0's with accutate power handels on most of
them. The penn 6\0 will chunk just fine.....and troll too.
That being said I will be posting when I get my 1st accurate reel. Most likley
a 30 spinner........

A chunking outfit is a fancy boat out outfit.. line, leader, hook, bait first.....
my $ .02
