Accurate reels good for chunking? |
I have noticed most accurate owners use them for jigging. How are they are far as chunking? Everyone seems to use larger reels for chunking vs jigging. I know you would want a lighter reel for jigging. I am mainly talking about the 270, 870, and 665.

Yes I got Torque's, Avets, Penn 30's and 20's( upgraded) for chunking (about 15 combined)
I also got 8 red and black penn 6\0's with accutate power handels on most of them. The penn 6\0 will chunk just fine.....and troll too. That being said I will be posting when I get my 1st accurate reel. Most likley a 30 spinner........ A chunking outfit is a fancy boat out outfit.. line, leader, hook, bait first..... my $ .02 Kev Last edited by Fishhead56 : 05-30-2008 at 09:58 PM. |
