$200 reel |

I want a reel for my 7 ft. St. Croix Tidemaster Heavy power Fast action spinning rod. I've been looking at either the Quantum Cabo 60 or the Shimano Saragosa 8000F. Spooled with 50lb braid, this would also probably see a lot of use as a back up casting reel for 30-80lb BFT/YFT (on a different rod, of course).
Just wanted to know some opinions. Brian Last edited by JerseyBrian : 04-24-2008 at 03:47 PM. |

u should actually fish with what u have first to see what u may need. u will find out what you need real quick, that is unless you already have it..fish with what you have and fine tune from there. there isnt any need for another reel or another spool. just fish...
