Not as bad as I expected--of course prices won't go back down once President Obama and a heavy Democratic majority in congress solve all of our economic woes brought on by the hated Bush Administration and diesel is once again less than a dollar a gallon.

I'm cool with the posted price in advance.
Fixed priceing can be planned for.

Did they make the long trip last weekend and if so.
How was it?

I've never been on the Big E, but $750 for 52 hours sounds reasonable. That's less than my last months water and electricity bills. That Big E 52 hour trip is 14.42 an hour. I would bet they burn around 2000-2400 gallons on that trip. That's a lot cheaper than a private or charter boat. I always figure around $80 an hour for fishing. That's outrageous, but that's a fact.

Any extracurricular activity that includes burning fuel to the destination, during the trip and the return trip is costly.
