HMM, i just got my little itinerary from Dolphin Docks for guidelines for what to bring on my trip and in BIG asterisk it said NO BRAID, i am not sure how i am supposed to jig without braid? plus my reels are pretty much loaded with the stuff. does anyone know what the deal is? or do they check everyones reels b4 they board?
ok has anyone been on their boats and fished with braid line? i know this may sound silly but it is bothering me. let me know ASAP!!!! Thanks for the help anyone!!

I am not going to bad mouth the other boats all I will say is that the only party boat I would take out of Port A would be one of the ones at the Fisherman's Wharf. Those cats ride nice and from my experience the Captains and deckhands know what is going on. I went out on their first long range tuna trip and it was one of my best experiences in the gulf yet. They put us on the fish and kept them coming in the boat the whole trip. I don't think I saw much mono on that boat. I do not own a rod with mono on it any more, because there is no reason not to use braid, except for a leader.
