Jigging and Popping Tuna...starting in June!
Well, guys. I'm sure you've been following the tuna bite in NC...it's incredible. There are a lot of beasts down there getting caught. We're talking 300-500 pound giants, and many are succumbing to the jigs. Yes, a fish that large on jigging gear.
Also, there are great numbers of smaller, 80-100 pound fish around. Either way, we win. Many of you have been following my website for some time now. I have
hours of videos on the site, much of which is my customers and their battles with tuna on spinning and jigging gear. It's what I specialize in when the tuna are around.
If you haven't seen my boat, she's fast, but still has a comfortable cabin and tons of space in the cockpit and on the bow to fish safely. I think that my cockpit is nearly 100 square feet. Not bad!
