Just nabbed a spot on a 48 hr trip out of Pt Aransas. I think it's going someplace besides the usual (Hoover/Diane, Boomvang, Nansen); but, I'm not sure. Anyone know the floaters where the Pt. A boats are going these days? Got floater/rig lat/long's so I can plot them on Googleearth and check weather?
Thanks Jep xs_tackle |

pesca sint fast enough to make it to Boudreaux.. I think. Did the GE get her fresh engines installed yet?? i remember seeing someone post about an engine replacement.... fresh engines... yummy!!
Good luck!! take plenty of topwaters and circle hooks!! swimbaits are the "shiznitz" when it gets slow!!!!Hearing the news of the GE making those long runs realllly excites me!! I cant even sleep at night in anticipation of the Sies TUna (TFF trip).... Maybe Capt Keith will even let me drive . .. LOL!!! ![]()

Just one engine. GE lost an engine coming in from their last 48. the new engine was sitting on the dock when we came in on the Pelican last week and was scheduled to be installed the next day. DSH said the GE would be ready long before the weather. I got an eleventh hour call from John Brennan Tuesday night with an invitation to go on the 48 on the Pelican that left yesterday morning but I had to work. aaarrrggghhh! Anyway, if all went well that charter may be back at the docks in the next few hours. Keep an eye on the web cam. Port A Now Fish Cam |

I guess that comes from making a big investment in the beginning and then making smaller ones for each additional trip... |

I have dial-up and the slowest computer in the whole world and I still watch the web cam regularly. Do you have Java? I think you need it and can download it free from the Port A Now web page |
