Cost / Person: $150-155
Number of People: 15-18

Hi folks, looking to see if there is interest in a 2nd annual Son-One 12 hour tuna charter on one of the party boats in Port Aransas this July.
Tenatively the dates I'm looking at are July 22nd or 23rd. That is the middle of the week just take that into consideration.
I have not decided on a particular boat or dock yet with things in a state of change in right now Port Aransas, but will do some more research and make a decision if there is demand for a party boat 12 hour tuna charter. I know the only captains and boats that can not be questioned/ discussed about over the 'net are in Louisiana, and this just a party boat charter, but so far our luck on party boats for tuna has been pretty good out of Port Aransas in the past. (BTW, I know Louisiana captains are very good at their work and provide a great service)
However, as said, there is some things that need to found out about in Port Aransas out before we book a boat.
We would limit the boat to 15-18, as Son-One is taller than awesum, but is not a lard butt, so 16 would be a good number again.( Not at all saying awesum is a lard butt)
Got an idea to run out there for folks.
I've got about 4-5 dad's with kids in the 12-14 year old range that had talked about doing a 12 hour tuna run & gun, including Earl, TOO for 3 dads/son's and another maybe dad/child.
Question is, would folks be interested having two charters that week?
A parent/child charter and then an adult only a day or two later? Both Tuna run and gun 12 hour charters.
Limit both to 16 or so fishermen?
If we get interest during that week of July 21st-25th, we can organize the one or two charters and get things going.
Cost will be aound $150'ish per person for the charter depending on the boat and dock, but we'll post the suggested details if there is interest in doing a 12 hour party boat run & gun charter during the week of July 21st-25th. Hope not too many foks are disappointed that this is just a party boat that expects to get paid for the service.
Post up if interested as well as to give input or suggestions. That is allowed with Texas party boats, right?

Got it, Snagged. Added you to the list and an email has been sent to you.
One thing, no dang Mako's, Big eye, trophy winning jackfish, etc, etc! Bad enough you out fish everyone, not going to rub it in with a mako type fish as well. Got it?
Probably hook up on a white, huge wahoo or the like on this trip.

Hi folks, just your late charter information about the proposed 12 hour charter out of DSH.
We are at 10 right now and possibly 3 more.
The cost for the charter is $2,300 for 10 and $60 per person above that. I'd like to get 17-18 folks for this charter, but we are not getting much interest above the 10 in.
our list currently is:
1. Bazztex
2. Bazztex
3. Bazztex
4. awesum
5. awesum
6. Earl
7. Earl
8. Snagged
9. TOO
10.TOO
11. Port Aransas Guy

We got a few others interested but not committed and I've been letting this slide a bit, and DSH called yesterday asked about a deposit, can you imagine that! LOL
The cost per person is as follows:
16 people $166
17 people $160
18 people $155,

If anyone is interested please email me at too@outdoorstexas.com or call (210) 215-3877

OK Willie ....

You aren't answering emails or reading posts to your thread at 2cool.

In your last email to me you asked me to talk to some folks to see if any were interested.

Well, I've talked to six people and none are committed yet but all are interested so you or me one needs to pull in the reins for a minute.

Bobby, sorry, I'm away from the computer most of the time right now due to a major event. Got a call that you had posted on 2cool and here. It was described as an "upset" post, neither post reads as your upset to me.
I have looked through both of my emails and do not see a email from you this week about this charter. Last email I have from you was from Monday about TBB 08 eats.
I figure your post is clear enough, you got 6 interested, and I have 4 interested. If we can get 6-7 of these 10 interest to commit, we'd be good to go. Three of the four of mine will have an answer by Monday, so we'll hold all others interested until these 10 give answers, fair enough?
As much as I'd like to drop my cell over the side of the boat somewhere and never deal with it again sometimes, if you got a need to get a hold of me, calling is usually the best way to get a hold of me right away.
Oh, and etan, I wasn't sure if you wanted to be identified or not. But now that the word is out...........

Willie...

Nope, not upset here. I'm not sure why anyone would think that. I just don't want to have to tell folks they can't go after they have said they would...

As far as the email goes ... I got it back last night over 24 hours after I replied to you as "undeliverable".

Nate likes flying beneath the radar...
