Cost / Person: Help Me!
Number of People: 10 + crew

I do not know where to post this. So... it is posted here. I am trying to assist TOO and our chartermaster Ragman with planning some of this trip. It's all about the details... LOL

I plan to travel on the 17th and stop for the evening about as close as I can get to Port Fourchon. I feel that it is high time to get some plans made. I need some input from the group as to their wishes.

I know of a couple of places that are available to the group.
www.bobbylynns.com/lodging.htm
This will work for the group to stay together as a large party.

There is the Kajun Motel that is also close by.

What are your desires and needs? How about a head count of those that need lodging either before and/or after the trip.

Next subject FOOD.

We will have 3 breakfasts, lunches and diners plus snacks on the water.

I do not expect a six course sit-down meal. We all will need some hearty food to ensure that we as crew and anglers are ready to function.

I see things this way. A hot morning and evening meal is enough cooking. Cold sandwiches and leftovers are fine for lunches and snacks.

I am gonna eat some sashimi and cerviche.

A good meal of fresh smoked/grilled fish would be enjoyable.

I think that DrShark and McGolfer are planning to bring beef fillets and heifer dust.

I think that BBQ would be great. Either beef brisket or pork boston butt. Or both.

I do not know what kitchen aplicances are available to us. This kinda makes planning breakfast difficult.

I think that biscuits, eggs and some kinda pig would suffice most days.

Does anyone have any special dietary needs? Allergys?

TOO, how many Capt and crew are we going to be fishing with?

Suggestions?????

I have no idea. Who got Frenzy Tackle to sponsor for the Cinco trip?

Tony that map is not exactly correct. I too have tried to find an accurate one and they all show the same thing. Once you turn onto LA 3090 it is the first public street to your right (just before the turn there is a private gated complex) once your turn right you go 1/4 to 1/2 mile and you will see the Port Commission building on the right (white building) turn right there - on your map I think this is labeled Bourg Street - (the map would have you continue straight on that road and veer left onto flotation canal road which is not correct) and then I am pretty sure you take the first right and the building is immediately on your right and the boats are parked on your left. Be careful parking there, the ditches have eaten more that one vehicle that I am aware of!

What time are ya'll scheduled to return on the 21st?

Thanks for the directions Ram. Mapquest has been wrong for me more than once. I'll edit my post.

I really do not know what time we will return to port on the 21st. I'll bet that Capt Tomeny's office folks will know if you are down there.

DSG,

Frenzy has worked with the Quatro and Cinco crew for at the past two years. I wasn't on the ones before that, so I can't speek for the first three years of the trip.

I actually have a dozen of their baits I bought directly from them. Call me in the AM or the next day or so, and I will go over the details.

I have fished yozuri's, tuna hunters, and quite a few of the other top water baits. The frenzy flyers are some of the best I've expierenced. There are some certain things that inhibit the bait straight out of the box. But with about 20 minutes per bait, you can easily modify these lures. I have 12 that I've got modified and will be more than happy to show you. While the Flyers are good out of the box, these have easily outfished those.

Welcome to the Mission North Texas Fiberglass.

We did some mods to the flyers last year too. I do want to see what you are talking about. I'm the show me kind.

Thanks,

I've got a ton of emails from Willie to go through in the AM and get caught up on all the details and that sort of things.
