All depending on who running the boat I assume. Capt. Monty gets my vote for great Capt. He moves almost immediately if fishing is not good. Putting us on fish seemed very important to him and not gas. I am pretty sure he would of burnt some gas to get us on some tunas.

2 nights with a Sport boat , yep
30 hr trip, yep

Labor Day

I'm not giving it a no vote as I would like to go any time.

but I'm not telling one of my brothers to book vac and fly in
for that weekend either...
I (careful in saying this) love the gulf when the crowd is gone.

Heck just look at who went to the Guninsiun in a out board boat.

I'm on this trip this year. Been out the last two years on Labor Day with the Big E. Both times we headed out to Redhawk to avoid the "inshore" crowds
