That is linear 62" which is even worst!
I have my Puerto vallarta trip covered now that I found a rod case that will collapse down to 6 ft. Luckily, Alaska airlines still will accept 80" linear. For those who do not know, linear means the total lenght plus the height plus the width of the tube. I don't have any two piece rod that can fit in the 62" linear. Some airlines have stated that nothing over 82 linear will be accepted as baggage. |

Oh, here is a link to baggage limits of some airlines.
Looks like Kilsong may have gotten off cheap. Checked bag fees, airline by airline |

We are heading to the dock now. Fishing was good. I had three yellowfin on poppers. The boat had about 45 yft and the biggest one is close to 200 lbs. One guys had a about 300 warsaw grouper.
I'll give a detailed report soon. |
