36hr trip w/tomeny charters

Cost / Person: 500 to 600
Number of People: 10 to 12
This is a 36hr trip out of port fouchon LA with capt Tomeny on the Louisiana for 2days and 1 night we curently have a crew of 8 and 1 maybe. Ten is what we need to get this done @ $600.00 each we can go as much as 12 @ a cost of $500.00 p/p costs do not include tips.
Tomeny has a bunk house at the dock he has offered at $15.00 p/p a night.
Where and what we fish for will be determined by crew and capt.
The goal will be to spend the night in the green canyon at one of the floaters.
And fish along the way back and forth.
I personaly have not gone out with Tomeny but the folks that have done this trip say it's great.
Note there will be lots of "JIGGING AND CASTING GOING ON"

Sorry for the late reply took the kids to see mickey and mom said no email.
Staven we have a spot if your interested let me know.
Snapper george, No terminal tackle will be provided a very basic rod and reel is all the boat can provide.You would definetly want to have all your own gear to make the most out of a trip like this.

I am in, I will talk to the mrs in am. But barring any lunar eclipse (she is a pretty cool gal, so no biggie).

Any recs on what gear to bring. ie is a stella 8000 good enough or do I need to bring my 20K, or my alutecnos 12 gorilla .....

Hey Jim-

I guess I will try to get me some poppers and jigs this weekend.
Can anyone give an opinion on what should I bring to the trip regarding terminal tackle...leaders. sinkers, hooks, jigs,etc?

Glad to have you on this trip your #11 one more spot left holding for Staven.
Guys we got us a newbie(SG) to break into jigging give him suggestions on tackle,lures and what to expect on this type of trip.I'm sure he will be bringing some of that beginers luck and will probably do better than all of us.
I already warned him about the jigging addiction factor he doesn't seem woried.
