i prefer lower gear reel better than high gear reels, sold my high gear accurates about two years ago for low gear accurates.i horse that cobia to the pier and he went straight into the pilings lock the drag and that was all she wrote real quick fight, there was a cobia caught earlier in the day and the guy faught the fish for one hour,i like the low gear reel for lure fishing ,i tend to reel kind of slow and with a verticle jig motion for cobia.

I was wondering if I got one of those 60/80 could I use it on the piers for lures and heaving blue runners out to kings and tarpons. Looks like it.

Nice Fish!! Fuel is cheap on those trips too!!
