i luvvit!..... my ol'stompin grounds
but mostly i was up there elk & moose hunting with a buncha loggers and the equipment dealers that kept'em going and yes, i gotta agree,......... you ain't LIVED 'til you went out the mouth of the columbia in the WRONG conditions seattle's fun too |

Ill tell you what they are thinking , please God let us go back home safe. I kind of have to admmit been myself on a similar situation about 15 years ago on a 17 ft powered by a Yamaha 45 hp outboard , 5 of us on baord crossing between two Islands on the Atlantic Sea with a good North wind 25 to 35 knots, swells high as hell. I agree you have to be a good skipper to tackle those rough seas, the skipper was and is a good one.
As myself I was just bucketing water out of the panga together with the other 4 and praying to get back to the Harbor safely. When I did put my feet on shore , I did kiss the ground |
