If you don't take care of that finger or hand offshore, it can get real nasty. Three or four days in the sun without treatment and just a saltwater rinse isn't good for gaff or hook mistakes. Trying to hold your hand together with dacron is about your only option.

Yeah, it's like the dorado. Lots of people call them dolphin but they are really dauphin. Confuses non-fishermen and they think we're grilling flipper.
