Shimano Sustain 8000FD
I was looking for a medium size spinner last year and I picked up this Sustain 8000. About 2 week later I found Stella 8000 for cheap on Ebay and don't need two reels this size so I'm letting this one go for $150.
It used but in pretty good shape and is loaded 20# or 30# Power Pro that was on the reel when I bought it. What you see is what you get -- no box, paper work, spare spool, etc. ![]() ![]() The full size pictures are in the gallery: first second Last edited by txseadog : 01-17-2008 at 11:02 PM. |

There's a little under the drag knob around the screws that hold the drag plate but it's not to bad. I haven't pulled the braid off the reel so I don't know what the spool arbor looks like.

That seems like a pretty good price seeing how a Stradic 4000 goes for $170 new these days. I just don't have an excuse for buying another reel these days.
