Sad news for some of you but a certain individual has bought both of the twinspins. All is left is the daiwa saltiga and the ATD 6.

I suspect that the individual to whom you sold them doesn't deserve either one. There is really no safe place to hide them in that trailer of his.

Man O Man, this thread went from selling some reels to double wides. I find it amazing that you can pick almost any thread on the internet and the original subject is history real quick. Since the thread is already butchered up, I might as well tell you a story you won't believe about Mrbill and double wide trailers. He owned one for about two weeks.

I was on a hunting lease about fifteen years ago. One guy bought a double wide and parked it on the lease. After about four years, we all wanted out of the lease because it wasn't producing the quality of deer we desired. The guy who owned the double wide tried to sell it but nobody wanted to spend the money to have it broken down and hauled off.

Enter Mrbill. He got word that it was for sale and made a insulting offer of a hundred dollars. After a few months and no more offers, the guy sold it. Mrbill went down to look at his newly purchased mobile home. The land owner agreed to meet him at the gate as he was showing the property to an interested hunting party. As luck would have it, the hunting prospects ended up at the hunting camp right after he clean it up. I don't know how he did it, but he sold the trailer to the new hunters and financed it for one year. I think he got about 500 a month for a year.

Word of the deal eventually got back to the original owner of the trailer. He was pissed. The guy didn't know Mrbill and made a threat. After being threatened, Mrbill told the guy to screw off. I remember getting a phone call from Mrbill. His only question was "How big is this guy?" I told him he was a big bad-ass. (the guy was a little wimp) I heard that the financial discussion concerning the trailer was very short.

That guy was a jerk. No wonder none of you guys on that lease wanted him on the next one.

Russ, I do have a basement under my Double Wide to hide both of these new twinspin additions. I had to sell that truck parked in my trailer to buy these reels. I sold it FOB my trailer. No way I'm going to remove it. I have some scrap sheet metal piled up in the back yard to repair the side of the trailer.

I'll use the "economic stimulus" check for something else.

I still have FEMA pass from Katrina. It's like gold here at the trailer park.

MrBill: You gotta love Gunsmoke. "Wow, isn't it amazing how threads get hijacked these days! Oh, by the way..."

All I can say is you guys better hope Barack doesn't find out you were actually making money through the practice of free enterprise capitalism. You'll wish you had that double-wide back in a heartbeat. As for Katrina relief, I am now concentrating on how the White House, having failed to divert the Myanmar cyclone, is now failing to get enough aid to the commanding generals of that country fast enough for them to wipe out the "United States" stickers on the crates and take credit for it. I blame Bush.

In your dreams.

I think that food at Floyd's at the CC Tunahead meetings is causing hallucinations. Do you guys still meet most Saturdays?

I do have about fifteen rods I'll never use again. I was planning on donating them to a charitable event this coming weekend. I might add that I have never bought cheap rods. If I come down with a couple of other guys,(God help me) they will probably be given away for lap dances at one of Corpus gentlemen's clubs as we slowly work our way to the island.
