Jay,
I already sold the rod that went with this reel. It was a Zenaq Fokeeto FB 53-16....a sweet rod. I can't decide if I will sell other rods just yet but will let you know first before I post them. Thanks, Al

Geek and gman: Glad to see that some folks out there are seeing the light and going the spinning gear route. With the new SR50 coming out, I'm thinking my ATD50W and ATD12 may just have to stay home--even for chunking and bottom fishing. Hell, if I like the big reel enough, I may even have to "dump" them.

Very good points. I second Glenn's comments. And I was fortunate to fish with Al at Jigfest II in Wilmington NC, he kindly let me use this reel as a backup. Too bad I did not get a chance to actually use it, but I can vouche that its in like new condition. I am also starting to get into spinning gear (right handed handle location, thanks Brian), but see the benefits of owning both and I just need to feed my tackle addiction so if this reel is still around when I get back from my up coming Tuna trip then I will add this Blnged out reel to my collection. peace!
