For Sale: Accurate B2-665N
I have a brand new Accurate B2-665N for sale. It's never been taken out of my house. I bought the reel to haul grouper/ajs out of the rigs with 30# of drag. I don't think it was designed to do so. I bought a Quantam Aruba to use in it's place. I also bought a Honda EU2000 genny for hurricane Gustav so I need to recoup a little cash. Thankfully the city I live in, Lafayette, was spared from extreme conditions. Again this is a brand new reel in the box with all paperwork, bag, etc. I'm asking $465 shipped via UPS to your door. I would think in a couple of days I should be able to ship it out. I can't take any pictures because I don't have my camera here with me.

I do lots of jigging with an Accurate 665NN reel....and I have been able to jig up some pretty big fish with the reel.
I love my Accurate 665NN two speed. It hasn't let me down yet. The wider Accurate 665N is probably just as good. Will you take $400 for it? |

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone has had trouble with any Boss 2-speed other than the wide-model 665. That's the only one I have experienced or heard of problems with.

Well of course I haven't used it yet so can’t give an accurate review. I can tell you my likes/dislikes at this time. The two speed functions easier than the boss. The drag preset being on the left side is a little weird. You must push in a turn to set the preset. Good as it will stay at the same setting, bad as it’s hard to do. It pumps out some serious drag. I don’t have it spooled up yet, but believe the 40 something they rate it at. Not hard to put into gear at high drag settings either! It has dual anti-reverse (one on each side the spool) so it should hold up, only thing is the anti-reverse is spring-loaded so it's loud as hell. I don't care for that. The clicker sucks. I hope I never have to use it. There is this tab that must be lined up on the left side when you take the reel apart using the quick take down feature. It's very hard to line it up as it's inside the reel. It's not very smooth. The best thing it has going for it is it seems to be built out of impressively thick materials. For what I paid for it....it's a steal! Time will tell if it holds up. I plan to put it to the test! Gary |

I feel $465 shipped is a very good price for a brand new reel. I guess I expected this reel to take the place of a 50 size reel. The B2-30 was more the reel I was looking for. Gary |
