Is the 3000 size smalled in diameter than the 4000 and 5000?

I did and my trip got canceled so I wont need it yet. I sent the check out priority on friday, you should have it monday or tuesday

never saw a 3 we have no call for them,
i can check a 2K (its wider) and the 4K they may be close,
the 4K is narrow. but tall
the 2k has the shallow spool (saves line)
we use the 1500 and 2K for bottom fishing here

Yes it does, but thats fall fishing for you.

I am more concerned with the height of the reel. The 4000 and 5000 are 4/0 size reels and I think the 3000 is a 3/0 size

not sure the 3000..the 2ooo is close to the same width as the 4ooo..
but the 4000 is really high sided..
