    Two Speed Conventional Reel

All of the reels that I own are spinners, capped off with a Stella 18K. I'm looking to either:

    1. Pick up a slightly used Stella 20K (jigging), or
    2. Pick up a conventional two speed reel for jigging/chunking; something with a lot of cranking power.

Avet offers a two speed in their LX model, but who else offers two speed reels suitable for yft in GOM? The conventional reel must be left-handed.

Any and all suggestions welcome, please.

    P. F.

Avet HXJ 5/2 Raptor with upgraded HXW Power grip. You should be able to order a true left handed version. Fantastic 2-speed conventional reel.

Skip the Stella 20kSW for jigging IMO, you will never go spinning reel jigging again after you use conventional jigging reel, especially a 2-spd one.

lefty jigging master pe reel mabey a 6 for the GOM but i dont really know how much line capcity you will need. has a ton of cranking power and there is absolutly no need for the two speed with this reel, and i was always the one who wanted a two speed until i saw this reel and it instantly changed my view about the need of a two speed

I'm specifically Avet chunk/troll, Accurate jigging.
Jig reels are single speed by preference, BX-400x, BX-500x
    chunk/troll Avets are HX-2, EX pro-30/2.
LX, MXJ just dont make enough RELIABLE drag to handle
    60-70# yellows.
Avets are available LH, usually off the shelf, Dont know about Accurate, but I've seen a couple

looks like you're pretty happy w/ shimano, you might look at trini 30,40 or Ocea Jigger
JM reels are very nice, but noisy.

I don't have lefty, but if you want some normal people's Shimano Tiagra 50W 2 speed with roller rods, I have 3 sitting in the garage
