Here's a blow up of the groove machined into the tip of the Duo. For the big rings, you put the machined groove on one part of the split ring and when you squeezed the lower jaws spreads the split ring. I hope this make sense.

Mr. Bill....

Thanks for the info on the Duo split ring pliers....sounds like a nice set of pliers. The pliers are definitely worth the dollars spent...saves a ton of time rigging up jigs. I use a pair of Shimano split ring pliers that allows you to lock the ring in....very helpful.

The Black/Silver and Blue/Silver colored Shibuki lures did extremely well on the last Big E trip...(sorry guys if I gave up a trade secret here).

Good luck on your trip! Take some pics....and let us know how you did.

Kil,

Do you rig all of those like #3? I like the barrel swivel at the front....keeps line from twisting. Thanks for the pic!

Some of us know our lures.

Heres the same ones with hooks. I don't use them for teasers. Just toying with you Kilsong. Hope you have a sense of humor. I'm sitting here waiting to get the word on transmission work on the boat. As of 5PM today it was still being worked on.

Pretty impressive Mr. Bill....looks like you dusted the lures off before your fishing trip....

Now....show us some pics of some tuna!
