I may have misunderstood, but I read a post that showed the two reels' washer sets and though their outside diameters were the same, the diameter of the Sara's drag's hole was smaller therefore creating more drag space.

Is there somewhere I could purchase the power handle of the Stella 20000 separately for my Saragosa 18000?

Mike at Roy's use to work for Shimano and did many field testing for the company. They seem to be the first to have available Shimanos newest products. You can also order thru Roy's. I'm stopping by this weekend to fondle the Saragosa....hehehe.

Papio...sorry to hear about that. We have so many orders going out each day and even though our inventory isnt real time and clearly states that when you click on IN STOCK or whatever the indicator said, discrepencies DO happen. We are trying every day to improve stock availability on the website and make every attempt to keep the customers up to date. Our inventory level has never been this high in the 2.5 years I have worked here and we really do stock much more product on the shelves, especially than Shimano than most dealers. Please email me if you ever need anything jvaughan@tackledirect.com

gman is a good friend of mine and the admin from this site buys from me so I have been lurking awhile here. Great stuff on this forum.

All saragosa 18000s backorder have been delivered awhile ago, thanks for all the biz. The reel is a beauty, I think it will handle all yellowfins here in the NE canyons.

I love hearing all of everyones insight on here regarding shimanos newer products and jigging. I will definitely make an attempt to post from now on.

I will the order the carbontex washers from Smooth Drag later. Buckos said the handle was $143.xx ... Do I have to get the handle too for it to work? Or are the knobs themselves, interchangeable between the Stella and Saragosa?
