You should try Fishing Tackle Unlimited
maybe TackleDirect: Fishing Tackle, Reels, Rods, Lures, Line, Tools, Fly, Saltwater

I've had a Saragosa 18000 on back order form Tackle Direct for about 11 days. Was told that they will have more in on 3/21.

I got my hands on one my friend ordered it looks and feels good and seems to be built well the only thing that did not impress me was the size of the drag disks (very small diameter) I did not measure them to me they seemed to be about the same diameter as say a stradic or a penn 7500.Knowing what you guys are going to put these reels through I would say this is where you'll see failures this is only my observation and guess.I hope you guys will let us know how they hold up for ya.

I use to order from Tackle Direct until they kept back ordering new products they claim to have in stock and ready to ship. Twice I ordered from them and twice they couldn't deliver on time without a courtesy call. So my business went elsewhere

Mike at Roy's use to work for Shimano and did many field testing for the company. They seem to be the first to have available Shimanos newest products. You can also order thru Roy's. I'm stopping by this weekend to fondle the Saragosa....hehehe.

My regular tackle shop, Peace Token in NYC has a few of Saragosa 18000F now. Mike of Peace Token said there is no shipping charge as they don't charge any items over $100. Call mike at 718-565-2376.
He is one of few who caught over 1000 tuna on jigs. The shop is loaded with many jigging items.

The spool is lighter not the reel??? just look at pictures of the reel the arbor of the spool has a smaller diameter on the 18000 are the drag washers the same size on the 14000?

The reels of 14000 and 18000 have exactly same body and use same drag washers.
