Randy and Kil,
Since your traveling by air, I could bring an extra empty 162 Quart igloo for you guys to share and store fishing gear and other stuff. It's a good way to keep things dry since the weather could be a little rough. That spray on top where all gear is stored can be hard on tackle bags. |

this is gonna be a great trip just because of who is gonna be on it. The fishing is second. Glad to be able to fish next to a great bunch of fisherpeople. Randy- dont forget your raingear. Might be wet, I will have an extra set if you need it. (5'10"- 165 lbs)

I've found with GTs that generally (note generally), the bigger the popper, the bigger the fish you attract. They seem to go anything that moves and the bigger the nosie the makes, the more it attracts them. On the other hand, I've found tunas to be more fixated on what they're currently feeding on. I've had extremely frustrating trips in the past where we struggled to catch much as they were feeding on really small fish.
Hope you have some luck - it'd be mind-blowing to see a huge YFT inhale a big popper! Quote:
