Mid knot

Have you use Mid knot?
How reliable is it?

I tied about a dozen of them and it seems to be pretty good and small knot.

Minnow,

I've been using it for 8 months now for all my mono/spectra casting connections. Not a single failure yet. I test all my knots to failure at home and would not use anything else for any non-spliced spectra to mono connections.

Minnow,

FWIW, one thing that I've found to improve the knot, is once you've made the 15 up and 15 down wraps, make a few half hitches and spread the wraps out evenly across the mono (this lengthens the wraps about 1/8 - 1/4 inches) then moisten before cinching down. I find the knot slips much less if you include this step.
