    Jigging/Bottom Setup for Wife

Looking for some suggestions on how I am going to setup a jigging/bottom combo for the wife. She is a fairly accomplished fisherman and the setup will not only be for mechanical jigging, but also for some buck tailing and bait fishing for grouper and snapper. Tuna (other than blackfin) aren't really part of the equation.

For the reel - I have a NIB Gosa 18k that I picked up, but I'm a little concerned about this being to heavy for her to jig or fish with all day and am thinking of selling it and getting a 10k gosa or stradic FJ instead. However some of the waters we fish are 185' to 200' and we will be catching 40# AJs regularly.

For the rod - I have a new Star Paraflex Jigging SGJ58XXH ( 300g rod basically) and a new Trevala TVS 58XXH (I'll likely sell the one I don't keep for her). In addition, I also have a Trevala TVS66M not being used regularly that could be used by her when we are fishing in shallow, but I imagine that the 18k Gosa would be stupid big for this rod. Suggestion and opinions welcome. Thanks.
