No problem with the bet. I'll bring an Tiagra 80WA loaded with 250# spectra and a 130 lb class bent butt all roller rod. I expect the "C" note to be framed and signed so I can display it in my trophy room.

likewise old phart!! Signed, and framed from you... hehe!!! where the heck you gonna stick the bent butt?? Now the tuna have to be close to the same size.. less than 75# dont count. This is gonna be fun!! As long as I dont go swimming and loose all my gear!!

Probably in yours after I win.

I'm not really an old phart yet. At 240 pounds I can still apply 65#'s of drag while standing up and not use a rail or harness. I have been called a "Tree Trunk" many times, but that doesn't bother me. I am what I am. There's not much you can do with genetics. Don't buy me one of cheap frames from Wal-Mart. I prefer a nice driftwood frame with 1/8" glass and double matted.

If I can make some monies this summer i wanna put the lx on a trevala, and the sealine on a calstar and make that my chunking reel.

Kevin,
The LX on a Trevala would be a poor choice, go to a 700 h.
