I will be in Cost Rica (Los Sueños) form July 21-30th doing some fishing. With the package I booked I have a few days of big game fishing arranged so I will be looking into other fishing options especially inshore and a trip to the Caribbean for Tarpon and Snook, upon arrival.
My question is this, I use only left hand reels (pathetic I know, LOL) and will be bringing spinning gear for inshore, popping, and jigging. Can anyone recommend what size gear I should bring for big game, should I throw in any trolling lures or rigs? Luggage allowance/weight, height restrictions are not an issue.
I know that the better charter boats will be fully equipped but I’ve always had an issue spending all this money for equipment and leaving it at home.
