don't lock down the drag and have it attacked to your car then have rue drive off. it is a fishing reel not a winch. i will check it out on my next trip down...rick

Rick,
Manual stated 7.2KG at strike so I don't think this reel will produce more than 30# of drag. I need to find a bigger parking lot to test this reel Lol. Or you can take it to Cingco trip and let some one test this reel and OTI jigging rod. |

Minnow,
I found a new boot that you might like. It will go with your flip flops. You could wear these when you bend your next prototype rod. Even better, you could wear them on the deck of the Big E when the deckhands are washing it down. Bring that reel on that Cinco trip and I'll have Mrbill put it to the test. http://cgi.ebay.com/ESPRIT-PRINTOUCH...QQcmdZViewItem Last edited by Gunsmoke : 10-03-2006 at 10:23 PM. |

lol.... that reel is very nice. Hope it holds up, I could sell my Avet for something like that. I like the side knob that you can palm for added drag.... help to keep thier head up if they start to run. It looks like it would be a good casting reel as well with the adjustable cast control. Sweeeeeet!
