KENCOR GP 700 MG 15-40LBS
Has held up well. This is not a blank but finished rod by Kencor that was to be used for med GOM fish. for thoose size fish it did great. It did survie and handle fish close to and over 100lb. But and I say But these fish were not suposed to eat the bait on this rod. No body told the fish though..... That Kencor is now in the Nor East and hopefuly it will get bit soon again by a Cod. K2 |

Graphite as all get out, (yes, light and strong) The jig's weight needs to be considered AS TO THE SPEED OR ACTION RATING. take a good look at the eyes and make the speculation to the size of line that you are going to run on it as well as the drag settings. Fast rods are more flimsy, they are for lighter jigs. That one can probably throw a 2 oz./3 oz. jig a mile using 25lb. Izorline xxx super copolymer mono.I am going to get a 7 footer, last years make. Price is really fair.
