Aussie style snapper.

Down here in Australia "Melbourne anyway"we have what we call red fever.
I call it red fever because all we think about is snapper snapper snapper and more snapper for about 3 months of the year when the snapper come into our bay.
Snapper have some kind of aura about them which makes grown men become little kids.
What can I say I'm one of those people.
I've caught them with bait and soft plastics and I never get sick of catching them.
Last year me and my mate took one month of work and fished for snapper almost every day.
This is how our snapper look.
This fish went about 5kilo,its what we call old man snapper with the big knoby nose.

This fish was just over 6kg and was caught over reef in about 8 meters of water.

And a couple more caught over mud.we catch heaps of fish over mud here, the snapper love it.

Welcome aboard.
That first snapper reminds me of my mother-in-law.

Thanks guys.
My mother in law wishes she looks that good.
Just joking she's cool.

We don't need to go very far at all, anywhere from the jetty to about 20 km out.
All depends where the fish are.
Mainly about 7km out in about 17mtr of water.
