What is Swordfish water? - Page 2

I am planning to go out in July with Capt Mike Ellis on an overnighter. Tuna early and late with sword in the middle.

I would love to take yall on a swordfish trip. Fish tuna till dark then drift the dark side all night with squid and then hit the morning tuna bite again.

Anyway, I did note in some reports for the Cajun Canyons Marlin Tournament that there were swords caught near Medusa....

Do you have any info about the Bluefin tuna?

I saw a bluefin in the 500-700lb range chasing some dolphin on my next to last sword trip. I had visions of the epic old man and the sea fight on my hands. But I had four srong backs to handle the task. Just if my 50w's had enough Jerry Brown on them. The sword bite has continued to produce for the guys fishing for them. Now is the time to get you one. Tony I will save you the three hundred pounder I have vowed to catch before october.
