Do you have any information for tuna fishing in southern Philippines ?
I have been looking for an opportunity to fish out of General Santos, which is tuna captital of Philippines. I heard tuna fishing is unbelievable in areas like Moro Gulf, Sulu Sea, Mindanao Sea or Selebes Sea.

Hi .....Im going to live in cebu next year ......ill be spending the rest of my days fishing within a 100 mile radius of there on a daily basis. Its going to be a big learning curve for me as ive spent most of my life chasing fish in the North Sea of the UK. Im taking my boat with me as its full of high tech gear that doesnt seem to be readily available out there . From what ive gathered over the past few years visits to the phils. Sportfishing is really in its infancy......I came accross a tackle shop there last January where there was a photo of one of the locals standing next to an enormous wahoo ....caught on a brass doornob !...........heaven knows whats lurking in the deep areas around there ....i can only guess ! I managed a couple of moray eels on my last trip ....which the locals promptly grabbed ....& barbequed . I will be happy to trade information with you as it becomes available... hopefully you might do the same ? .......best regards JT.
