That trip was probably one of the most fun times I've ever had. Thanks to everyone who shared their knowledge and helped me out with gear, I appreciate it!! I feel like I learned a ton. I think I have a better idea now of the kind of equipment that I want to have while I'm out there. I've already got my tax return set aside to pickup a new rig or two so I'll be much better armed next time.
I can't WAIT to get back out there!!!! |

Hmmm, there needs to be an action adjustment based on this comment........statue of limitations on Tuna Laws in Texas is 30 years, or should be.............ignorance of the the law is not an excuse............. next tuna trip should incur the application of this law as well penalities........JMO ![]() |

The un-named perp was aware of the Texas Tuna Laws, there is a whole different process for purposely being derelict of Texas Tuna duties and responsibilties, punishment is no where as compassionate to violaters compared to those that use ignorance of the Tuna Laws as an excuse.
It's all spelled out right there, look it up. |

I like sushi!A few days ago... WE have some oriental neighbors here at work. They have always been extremly nice to me and pleasant to be around. They dont speak much english, but enough for me to understad and be able to communicate with. I caught the lady outside and called her over to my truck (where the cooler was). I asked her if she liked Yellowfin tuna.. she didnt understad very well, so I asked if she liked sushi.. She said yes.. I opened the cooler and said TUNA... her eyes lit up as I pulled a 5 lb bag out and handed it to her. I told her it was fresh- Made me happy!

That is some funny shit right there, we tried pulling that prank on my brother while in the NE canyons. My friend and I had a plan that i would lure him in the boat and he would dump the bucket. I go inside and my brother walks in behind me and then he runs back out becuase his 50 started screaming. So Im laughing thinking my friend dumped the bucket already. It turns out he got tight on a 100 lb bluefin before we tricked him. Guess the joke was on us because we blanked out |
