last year about this time i tried to locate a week rental in the middle keys for the fall - mid sept-mid oct. never did find anything but did find that most homeowner orgs in the keys do not allow rentals shorter than 29 days thus they are hard finds. am firing this a shot on 360 to get any info or leads to follow up on possibly for this fall
Good luck. I tried finding a place last year in Islandmorada and didnt have any luck. Most places are looking for month long rentals. How long of a trip and how many people? Between my brother and I we have been there 8 or 9 times and i can suggest other places to stay.
smuglers cove in windley key is great place it is a motel
good docking, ramp is close, gas is close, decent rooms, right on snake creek, great diving 5 to 7 miles, great fishing all over back country to off shore usually about 7 to 30 miles. In the lower keys the run off shore is usually longer unless your in keywest.
