This is a very interesting study of the clorophil on the GOM waters.

I think you are looking at it wrong...all you see are the vertical lines between the color changes, what you are not seeing are the color changes at any given depth.

so at Bakers or Southern right now, there may be crystal clear blue water under the green stuff 20 ft down, there is just no way to see that w/o diving down.

I read that as being pretty freakin good in the green cayon, as well as mars, ursa and thunder horse. With a decent bite at elf. It is a river people, the biggest on this continent...
