Deffinetly something to cherish and save.
It's so rewarding for a young fellar to have something like that to think about when falling a sleep at night. or even in a few years later to talk about at the school caffateria. Also I believe/ The TX. STAR program is set up well to inspire and reward kids for catching bay, jetty and surf fish. Plus their own Mag to receive and read. Good job as a Pop and the same for the thanks you give to your Mom. Kev. |

Congratulations. In later years, he can truthfully tell his fishing buddies: "You know what, one time, back in the good old days when men were men and fish were huge, I caught a gafftop that was a thick as my leg." And he'll have the picture to prove it.
That gafftop is bigger than anything I caught while rock-hopping the south jetty this weekend in cold drizzle, with 40 knot winds and muddy current--I can tell you that! Russ
