The rods look great.
It is good we have many choices now to choose quality jigging and popping rods. I tested the Hooper jigging rod on the New Zealand trip and it performed beautifully though their guides are not SIC. |

TJ,
Can you get me the 7 foot spinner delivered to Capt Steve's by Saturday? I want to take one on Kil's jigging/popping trip and compare it to the one I used on the GEM trip last Nov. Steve Tomeny, Inc 140 Flotation Canal Rd. Golden Meadow, LA 70357 Let me know and I'll use the check out on 360tackle or however you would rather. BACKLASH SCOTT... Speak up now. Several rods will fit into a tube. |

TJ, The mailperson just came and dropped off the OTI jiggers I'd ordered. Wasn't expecting them this quickly. Sent you an order for one of the spinners.
I'm very pleased with the appearance of the rods. Glad I waited. I have maybe half a dozen reels in boxes and now it's decision time. I think I'll put a 4000T Kaikon on the 300g and a 665 Accurate on the 600g. Have an 8000PG Twinpower waiting for the spinner. Have a Venice overnighter with Eddie the first week in July but I may drag the Contender south next week. Gotta give these rods a try. Thanx again. Great looking rods. Fred |
