Damn, now you're just taunting me You still interested in a trip to Venice in the fall with me? I need to catch my first Blackfin on jigs and poppers and the GoM sounds like the place to do it And Capt. Eddie sounds like the man to put us on the fish!

I might have a couple of other friends interested as well, but they're not seasoned fishermen. I'll find out soon enough if they're serious about coming.

yeah possibly. i may need to cancel my big e trip the weekend after labor day. i dont know how the bite is off of venice in october but im sure blackfin are around as always. maybe someone who has fished there in the fall will chime in
