All Star rod
I was given a All Star 9ft blue water avenger spinning rod a last year as gift and havent figured out what its used for... Seems to long for anything and too short for surf... Anyone see this rod before and have an idea of what they are designed for...

sounds like a great rod for denison dam stripers.
based on it's rating, it'd prob. make a good popper-tosser for blackfin or other smaller pelagics....... I love Allstar rods! tight lines -Brian |

it's not in this year's lineup on the website All Star Graphite Rods / About Us
but a friend of mine used a heavy casting model in that same line last year w/ good results on schoolie YFT. is this the one w/ the triangle shaped foregrip? -B |
