Can you splice spectra to spectra like you could normal mono/floro to hollow core? The reason I ask is when I originally spooled my LX's I only put 300 yards of 65# Jerry and topped it with mono. I'm wanting to get rid of the mono now and fill the reels completly with Jerry and put floro on top. Would it just be easier to tie the two together? I know I should probably just pull the 600 yards off of the two I have now an start fresh with hollow all the way through but I really don't want to chunk 6 month old line in the trash can, esp when it is as high as JB.
