I just got the news that Pelagic Offshore Gear has made my 11 year old son Anthony the first youth angler on thier pro team. In April he won thier photo of the month contest photo included. He doesnt know yet Im waiting for the sponsorship packet to come before I tell him.

They did this becuase of his love of the sport and becuase of his track record for landing big fish standup. At age 11 he already has 4 different species of billfish caught along with many large pelagics such as tuna to 150#'s and sharks over 300, one of his proudest catches believe it or not was his 65# amberjack he caught off a rig in Venice, that fish was a true demon
